RESPONSIBILITIES

Please take all necessary precautions to avoid damage to the tundra. It is Lounsbury’s goal to leave no trace of our activities on tundra while working, and it’s the right thing to do.

If you find or cause any damage to the tundra, it must be reported. Take a GPS reading of the damaged tundra and be prepared to describe the damage. Disciplinary action is taken only in cases where damage was caused and not reported. When that damage is later discovered and if the responsible party can be proven, the responsible employee can be terminated. The point here is to do your best to be good to the environment, but if you do cause some damage, report it.
